As Queensland records another day with no new locally acquired coronavirus cases, Australia’s Chief Medical Officer has removed Greater Brisbane from the country’s list of COVID hotspots.

Professor Paul Kelly says it’s “a time to thank all staff at Queensland Health for their work in tracing contacts”, with the state’s management of the latest outbreak declared “another success story”.
