The Brad Widdup-trained Icebath has secured a start in the $3 million Doncaster Mile after the scratching of Gem Song on Thursday.
Gem Song’s trainer Kris Lees informed stewards that the gelding pulled up “lame in the off fore leg after working” on Thursday morning and will be spelled.
