Twenty arrested after major Brisbane drug investigation

Twenty people have been arrested as part of an investigation into a “well-organised” Brisbane drug trafficking network.
Detectives seized cash, drugs, and property in excess of $1 million and handed out 303 criminal charges as part of Operation Sierra Virtuous, which ran over a 12-month period.

The investigation focused on what police described as a “well-organised drug trafficking network” operating across Fortitude Valley, New Farm and Greater Brisbane.
Of the 20 arrested, seven were charged on trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine.
